Self-Leveling Coatings & Underlayments

Service Detail
Crew member and mixing equipment beside a wet self-leveling underlayment application in a Texas A&M University corridor.

Pace Coatings installs self-leveling coatings and cementitious underlayments for commercial and industrial floors across Houston and Texas. We handle large-volume pours that improve floor flatness and create a prepared substrate for compatible finish systems.

Our services cover two distinct systems: cement-based self-leveling underlayments, such as ARDEX V 1200, used beneath floor coverings; and self-leveling resin coatings, such as specified epoxy systems, which can serve as finished wear surfaces when designed for that purpose.

  • Commercial self-leveling cementitious underlayments
  • ARDEX V 1200 and other specified self-leveling materials
  • High-volume interior leveling pours and floor preparation
  • Resin-based self-leveling epoxy systems where specified
  • Concrete substrate preparation and correction of surface irregularities
  • Coordination with subsequent flooring and coating installations

Why Self-Leveling

Flat, Smooth, Seamless

Corrects Uneven Floors

Helps address surface irregularities and create a flatter substrate when installed within the product specifications.

Smooth, Continuous Surface

Provides a smoother base for compatible floor finishes; final wear-surface requirements depend on the selected system.

Strong Foundation

Prepares a suitable base for subsequent floor coverings or compatible coating systems, as specified.

Large-Area Placement

Designed for efficient placement across corridors and larger interior floor areas, subject to product cure and site conditions.
